Review of Iron Man 3

Seeing as it's still new enough in the cinema, I thought I'd do a review of the new Iron Man. I went sometime last week, and is honestly one of the best movies I've seen in ages.

Robert Downey, Jr. is back as everyone’s fast becoming, favourite superhero, Iron Man, in the sequel Iron Man 3.

Director Shane Black comes together with Marvel Studios to produce this summer’s blockbuster. Not only a sequel to Iron Man 2, it also follows the box office hit, The Avengers.

In the wake of the alien invasion of New York, Tony Stark (Iron Man) is suffering from insomnia and panic attacks. However, as the American broadcasting airways are hi-jacked by terrorist ‘The Manderin’, played by Ben Kingsley, threatening to kill The President of the United States, Stark is forced to step into the suit once more.

The film certainly doesn’t fall short of humour, with Tony Stark’s quick whips, sarcasm and undeniable charm, Downey, Jr. is utterly at home in the role. Contrast this with Ben Kingsley’s fantastic one-liners, adding some light relief to an intense turbulence of events, keeping the audience chomping at the bit.

No action movie would be complete without a damsel in distress, while Gwenyth Paltro is simply loveable as Iron Man’s other half, Pepper Pots.

If you’re going to see this movie in cinemas, definitely opt for 3D. The graffics are impeccable, and would be an insult to the creators not to experience 100 tonnes of metal flying before your eyes.

Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end, and although it is unclear what the future holds for Iron Man, it seems as though this could possibly be his last solo debut.

Check out what I wore here!

Dinner with Family

Having really only realised, 6 months down the line, how close I live to my cousin Claire, we decided last Wednesday that we'd have a dinner-date and a catch up. Claire is super healthy, which obviously suits me down to the ground right now, so she decided to try out a new recipe on me.

Marinated aubergine, in garlic, honey, soy, salt and pepper, grilled, with a side salad of spinach, sweetcorn, some coleslaw, peppers, onion, and some balsamic vinegar over the top.

It was delish! Especially as someone who a couple of months ago would've referred to that as rabbit food, I am completely converted!

Here is is, in all it's glory, nomm...

Super GreenTea Diet

Well guys, after loosing a further 9lbs, making it a total of 1st 4lbs, I thought I'd let you in on one of my little secrets!

It's these bad boys,

I went into Holland and Barrett a couple of weeks ago and was approached by such a hottie, who when he asked me what I was looking for, in a startled voice I replied, "ehh..something to make me skinny". Looking a little embarrassed, he showed me these. He said that there their fastest selling weight-loss supplements that they have.

For just €11.99, they certainly did the job! You take one in the morning as soon as you wake up, and the second around lunch time. He advised me not to take them after 4 o'clock in the day as the two tablets are the equivalent of 12 cups of green tea, and my keep you awake.

In my experience of them, at the start I found I had 'the shakes' a bit, however when I went back to talk to them they told me that I either a.) needed to drink more water with them or b.) wasn't using up the excess energy that I've been given and need to do some more exercise.

The ingredients are all natural so shouldn't be a problem to take, however I'm no expert, so make sure you talk to them in store about your own personal requirements!

Here's a picture I took during the week, hopefully there'll be even further improvements over the next couple of weeks!

And speaking from experience here, nothing tastes as good as skinny feels.
